vice-president Dennis D. Estopace. He asks readers to suggest

Estopace was former business section editor and reporter of
The Manila Times and Today newspapers, respectively. He's written
for the Consortium since 2002; sometimes as himself, sometimes
under the pen name Isagani dela Paz. The column's title "Global
Brownie" arose after eating the marijuana-laced baked product
during a Steely Dan-inspired gig in 70s Bistro cafe, according
to Mr. Estopace. "Read, Don't Weep," is his first
piece for this common column among Consortium members. Articles
that appear in this column, to note, are the views of the writer
